What is CSS! Today we are going to talk about CSS, and how CSS affect your website, CSS is related to web development, which is often considered a hard task to learn and understand, and considered that only programmers or web developers can do. Right! No, guys, it’s not true, I will show you how easy web development is and you can learn website development in very short time if you are going to follow my all posts related to CSS and HTML. So cheers! We are going to talk about a necessary element of website development which is CSS, and CSS stands for Cascading style sheet.

Definition:  “CSS (cascading style sheet) is a computer language, which is added to HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) for web developers and users to allow them more control over the appearance of a website and its pages”.

Explanation: Today in web development field, developer use CSS for adding a stylish look to their websites. CSS allows them How to set layout and formatting of a web page and make the websites beautiful and attractive for visitors. Infect CSS effects a lot on a website in terms of colours of backlinks on a page, the font size of heading, and space between each line or paragraph. Cascading Style sheets give the website stylish looks and attractive appearances if no use of CSS, then a website, will look very simple and there will be no attraction for visitors as compared to the use of CSS on a web page document.

What is HTML? Well i will talk about HTML in my another post, but just for a little introduction HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) was invented to develop and use to create content of a web page, not style and appearance, well there is but not like CSS, but in CSS language on one page you can use different style sheet to make a web page more attractive for visitors. The other benefit of using CSS is, this improves the downloading speed of a website, because this is going to be store at your computer as cached file for the very first time and later whenever you are going to open that specific website, this will work fast, for browser, the task is to download HTML content only.

Why to Use CSS: The main important feature of CSS is to differentiate the structure of HTML and appearance of a website. CSS also allow us to set a different look for each device, mobile, tablet, computer etc., and the accessibility of documents on the internet, is very easy if you use cascading style sheets on your website because this is a very friendly language for search engine optimization. The very popular websites Facebook and YouTube use CSS in their website’s appearance. If you are working on Wordpress blog you will find CSS in appearance tab inside the blog management layout, but if you are using BlogSpot than you have to create by yourself and paste the code inside the blog while customising  your blog's appearance.
