The resume of an employee from visual effects and animation studio Blur has revealed that a trailer for Dead Rising 3 was completed in 2012. According to the LinkedIn resume of a Blur rigging supervisor, a game cinematic for Dead Rising 3 was created last year. The entry has since been removed from his resume but was captured in a screenshot by All Games Beta.
This marks the closest thing we’ve seen to a confirmation that the next entry in the series is in development. Back in 2011, details reportedly from the game were leaked online including a setting in a fictional California town called Los Perdidos and a protagonist named Rick.
We’ve reached out to Capcom about Dead Rising 3 and will update with any comment we receive.
